Chalk Cliffs
The famous Chalk Cliffs are on the Rügen Island. They are a nesting site for a special species of swallows. The Chalk Cliffs are the home of an owl, too. which only exists on the Rügen Island.
In 1990 this part of the coast was declared a National Park.
