Anse Source d'Argent on La Digue, Seychelles

Anse source d'Argent

Anse source d'Argent is the name for the most famous beach section of the fourth largest granite island of the Seychelles named La Digue. It is 5 km long and 3 km broad.

The highest mountain on La Digue, which can be well seen from the beach, is the Nid d'Aigles ( that means "eagle node") and emerges 333 m out of the sea. The Anse Source d'Argent possesses spectacular granite formations.

Anse Source d'Argent

It is certainly easy to imagine for somebody who sees the contrasts of pale sand, granite blocs, deep green and clear seawater, why this beach near the equator is so famous and popular.

But yet Germany at least possesses much attractions, too, especially by our definded, alternating seasons. If we always had spring, we never would be able to enjoy the nicest spring day so much.
